These things are HUGE. But they can run fifty miles an hour. Do NOT get between one and it's baby or the water. tehse guys were leaving the marsh, headed out for their evening foraging but then they causght site of us and dashed back to their pond. One actually stopped and confronted us. I swear to god, it was the size of a Honda Accord. Look at the bird hitching a ride on it. Tick season means good eatin' for them birds...
